I had an amazing time at E4HC. I got to experience quite extensively the life in the mountainous town. The trick is that you stay flexible, curious and open to opportunities. The hosts were superb. I felt very well taken care of during my stay.

Thank you, Quen! I had a great time and will truly miss everyone—especially the amazing food! The village was peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to relax. Papa and Mama were so kind and made me feel like part of the family. The locals were always smiling, and the students were wonderful. I’m glad I got to help with their English. The internet worked great, and everything left a lasting impression. I’d love to come back someday. Thank you again—it really felt like a home away from home.

I spent a month teaching English and had an amazing time! Ms. Quynh, Ms. Van and Mr. On made my experience very special. I got to take part in a wedding and a local ceremony in a remote village. This experience will forever be one of my best memories!

A truly incredible experience! You are welcomed as a member of the family. We are backpacking around South East Asia and wanted to be a part of a project that makes a difference. Teaching is a small part of the bigger experience of staying with Miss Van and Miss Quynh. You really submerge in the culture and community of Ha Giang. The local people are keen to build bonds with us and embrace us in their community. We have learnt so much about the wonderful country and history, and the importance of communication and we are proud to be able to help teach the students from our language to create a better future.
